ABOUT FOUNDER AND CEO.

I am Malaika Nkatingi whom has always been passionate about beauty since as far as memory lane can carry me. I would often do my family members’ makeup whenever they needed to attend events. I got such encouraging feedback since the age of 14 when I started learning how to do my own individual lashes but those were more semi-permanent. I needed something for my once in a while people. I decided, why not monetize on something I can do effortlessly, the journey started in June 2019. My 18-year-old  self decided to take a leap of faith and to my surprise sold 23 lashes in the first month; I then decided to give the brand a name that will resonate with myself and my target market, “Classique” which means classic in French. I decided on lashes because I never truly found the exact type of volume lashes in the stores , therefore for I thought to myself “I’m sure there is someone out there who would love more volume and longer lasting lashes like myself”. Although it was not easy trying to juggle matric and running a business, but it was worth with every tear drop and missed out girlfriends’ outings to invest in the successful brand it is today. I found a gap in the market and have been proudly selling premium lashes since, with a customer satisfactory rate of 99.9%, We plan on continuing to serve the people for the benefit of the people.
